Here is my weekly update of the recipes we are trying and expiermenting with, Between my family, the neighbors and some friends we are comming up with new and creative recipes. Come back and see what we cooked up next weekend enjoy!!!


Pretty much every Sunday or Saturday we do an all day cookout ( or we graze like a cow eating all day.)
so here is the menu we had with some pictures.
for the appetizers

Bacon wrapped Jalepeno's, Raw Oyters, Mussels,

For the vegatable, now this is very weird but good, Sweet potatoe and Corn, the thing that is weird about is that we put it directly on top of the charcoal, see before and after pics.

To finish it off we had steak and chicken wings (yumm yumm)

Food-- Pork Fest

Well tonight went to my neighbors house, Visit her blog http://devonscraps.blogspot.com/
We had a hodge podge of food, first we had bacon mushroom rollups, which are bacon, mushrooms, and cream cheese rolled up in some bread and toasted. Then we cooked some scallops wrapped in bacon, with green onion and garlic (Yum Yumm), That was just the appetizers, for dinner we had bbq pork chops, ribs, potatoe salad, baked beans, and cole slaw. You would think we are feeding an army but really only fed two families, 5 adults and 2 kids. Yes we have lots and lots of left overs. This is the one cool thing instead of one of us buying all the food, we bring our food that we are going to eat for dinner and make it like a buffet. The boys play together, Devon and I sit on our laptops looking for free crap, and the men are in the man cave watching football, this is a typical Saturday night, lol.

Cold Weather In Florida

I am pretty much sick and tired of this code weather in Florida, I would like my 80-90 degree weather back. I am pretty sure that most of my garden has died, which sucks because we have tomatoes, peppers, corn. and jalepeno's growing. I am getting cabin fever from staying inside all day long, usually after work we are outside in the yard letting my son play with his friend who lives next door. It looks like this week we will get into the  70's but then I heard we are getting another cold front and its going to rain and be all nasty Saturday and Sunday which should make for a lovely weekend stuck inside (ya right :-p). Well this was just my little rant for today, just finished with lunch now back to work, yippee.

If you don't already know Amazon is a great way to sell your unwanted stuff, like school books, Cd's and lots of other things. I sell all my College books on Amazon I get more money then turning them back into the college. They charge a small fee but in the long run it is worth. Back to work

Well having two weeks off was so nice, did not want to go back to work. I have been back for about a week and finally getting used to waking up early. oh how I wish I could stay at home or win the lottery. Well I know my chances are slim but what the hect I can dream.

I am just hoping tomorrow will not be stressful what am I thinking yes it, we are having my son's 3rd birthday party at Chuck E. Cheese, fun fun fun (lol) at least for the kinds.
